I placed the order and was contacted roughly 3 weeks after order to arrange delivery. A time slot was given for the day and the delivery driver was helpful and delivered with care. The shelves exceeded our expectations. Boxes were clearly marked and instructions easy to follow. We two people we were able to assemble in 2 hours. The end result is fantastic! Excellent quality, you definitely get what you pay for!

Strong, stylish, and built to last – that's the promise we guarantee. But what really goes into bringing our shelves from concept to reality? Everything we sell, we make! Right here in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire. We wanted to give you a glimpse behind the scenes and tell you how we bring the stunning shelves you know and love, to life.

Manufacturing the Framework
#1 Your shelving starts its journey in our factory as long sections of tube steel. The process begins by using advanced fibre laser machines to cut the sections of steel.

#2 Next, automated drilling machines create perfectly aligned holes that are then threaded (tapped).

#3 Components are welded using a series of jigs for accurate assembly (this forms the ladders)

#4 Steel components are powder coated. This involves applying a high-quality epoxy powder which is baked to form a very hard-wearing surface.

#5 Finally, we insert our pin clip moulding into the end of each horizontal rail using a hydraulic press.

Preparing the Panels
#1 Full sheets of 18mm MFC are brought into the woodshop. The process begins with cutting panels on our high-precision saw.

#2 Once the blanks are cut, they move to our edge ba**er. Here, we apply a 0.8mm ABS edge banding in a matching finish to each panel.

#3 The panels are then drilled using our CNC drilling machine. Finally, the hardware is added.

Packing – Where possible we aim to use components that have been picked from stock, this helps to speed up the packing process. Before packing, each component undergoes a thorough quality check to ensure it meets our high standards.
