It’s with a heavy heart to announce that Odin’s Plate will be closing its doors for the last time Sunday the 4th of September. It’s a sad moment for us all, but our quest here is at an end.

We would like to give a huge thank you to all our amazing customers, and to our shield-brothers at The Hilt for sharing this time with us.

Our pals over at popped by this week to deliver some of there finest Ginger Beer, all for us 😍... Naaa where just kidding we'll save you guys some!

RAGNAROK - Aged in whiskey barrels for 6 months and infused with honey and rosemary has produced a truly spectacular drink.

VALHALLA - Inspired by the long dark nights of Yule, Spiced with cinnamon, star anise and orange. This ginger beer tastes perfect next to a roaring fire any time of the year indoors or outside. A drink worthy of the gods!

So today we are launching our eating competition, which consists of a 2 foot long sausage, covered in slow cooked beef chilli, with lashings of In house chilli sauce and Lime crema, sprinkled with Jalapenos 🔥🔥

We are challenging anyone who feels they can conquer this beast within 25 minutes! £35 to attempt the challenge, but if you succeed, it's on the house!

Hanger steak 🥩 is classed as offal as it hangs inside the rib cage, this gives it a rich beef flavour. It was also known to be the butcher's steak as customers were not aware of this succulent cut, but personally, we think it's perfect served rare over some banging fries 👀

I headed over to a secret location 👀near knaresborough, with one of my chef friends ..... Ooooo chef friend.

Grabbed a few bags of Wild Garlic, used one for an oil (turned into aioli) and the other for a butter 🤤 (stuffed inside the chicken)
