The Campus East reception team will not be able to assist If you are locked out. If Kato Reception is staffed please go there for lockouts, if unstaffed please contact Campus Safety on 01904 324444.

From Monday 4 June until Thursday 13 June the gates at Kato College will be closed between 4pm and 4.30pm. We're sorry we can't give an exact time as this depends on staffing available to close the gates.

It's the last brunch of the year: Tuesday 4 June at 11am. As usual it's first come first served (with consideration to others) and will be available until the last bagel has gone!

🏳‍🌈🎉Join the College for York Pride 2024! 🎉🏳‍🌈

York Pride is one of UK's largest celebrations of the LGBTQ+ Community and we love taking part each year. With live music, great food and drinks, York Pride is an amazing day out and you can take part!

If you want to join the March, please gather opposite McDonald's on Blake Street from 11am to meet University of York and College staff. The march lasts around an hour as we make our way to the Knavesmire for a lively day of music, stalls, food and more.

We're always sad to see our students leave, but all good things must come to an end!👋 If you're a current David Kato College resident, check out our moving out advice.

The Goodricke College Student Committee is excited to be hosting their annual music festival ✨ Goodfest ✨on Saturday 8th June and all students are invited! What better way to celebrate finishing exams before heading home for summer?

The event will run from 2 until 7pm and will include live music and stand up comedy throughout the day. There will also be a well stocked bar on site, as well as burger and ice cream vans. On top of all of this, the first 100 people to arrive on the day will get a free drink!

Tickets are ON SALE NOW and available to buy for £6. Anybody wanting to buy tickets on the day will be charged £7.

We're starting off the week with our Positivity Wall made up of messages from students reminding us all to be kind to ourselves.

This Monday we have our rescheduled environment quiz in the Hub at 6:30pm. We have big prizes for the top 3 teams to be won including a voucher. Quiz rounds range from films to York to environment (of course!). We would love for as many people to come and join in. Teams are a maximum of 4 people and all teams must bring a pen/pencil. We look forward to seeing everyone down in the hub on Monday evening to get involved✨✨✨
