Amanda is a devoted mother of two beautiful girls, who both challenge and inspire her in everyday life.
Amanda grew up on a farm in country Victoria, Australia where her passion for writing & illustrating was sparked at a young age. Farm life taught Amanda how challenging life could be, but it also showed her the joy that animals and nature bring to people. She expresses this joy through her characters and the brightness in her books.
Lynette Diss, Amanda’s mother, has again helped Amanda create stunning Australian scenery for this book, in between helping on the farm in Langley and spending time with her twelve grandchildren.

Something is wrong with human existence, and to some, the evidence is all around us, demanding our attention. Can we really change? Yes, we can, but to do so we need to alter our frame of reference. We need to learn to see with different eyes. The ills of this world have their source within each one of us, and so it is within each one of us that the source of the world's ills must be dealt with. And we can start by acknowledging the existence of the powerful, extraordinarily beautiful spark of divinity that exists within us. The Messiah Perspective is a series of stories, like steppingstones of transformation, each one of which contains the truth of human existence - our psychology and spirituality, our true nature, and reality. These stories are the path I have trodden as I cut a swathe through the layers of programming, harmful beliefs, learned behavior, and the lower-dimensional perspectives and mindsets that currently characterize our existence. This is the path I have walked to transform my own perspective, to see with different eyes, and to set free the radiance of my own divinity.
