Alright guys, here is Mocean Fitness’ first ever competition 🏃🏽

So this year in 2022 we want to do something to not only involve our followers but also to motivate and inspire, and we don’t want that to come from us, we want that to come directly from you and to you!

So, here is Motivation Monday 🤛🚴🏼‍♀️

We want you to send to us your stories or experiences related to health, fitness or wellbeing which you think could help motivate and inspire someone else.

• The story doesn’t have to be about you, it could be about someone you know
• It doesn’t have to be related to something big and extravagant.

Your motivational or inspiring story could be anything but the two rules are;

1) It has to mean something to you personally
2) It must be something that you think someone else might relate to, and that might just give them the motivation they need to get after their goals.

Send them into us either by DM or by email to [email protected] and we are going to post some of these stories, on our feed and our IG stories on a Monday to share with the rest of our followers. Remember, THE MORE DETAIL THE BETTER. Take us on your journey. 🗻

This will run for the whole of 2022 so your story might not have even happened yet! In December of this year, we are going to make a short list of what we believe are the most inspiring and motivational stories.

YOU guys are then going to vote and pick a winner.

Black Friday? Here’s our take…⚫️

During our first full year trading as a start-up, we didn’t want to participate in Black Friday. We’re using our medium to advocate for ocean and planet conservation, so promoting over consumption, one of the primary sustainability challenges, didn’t seem right. ✋

However, we’re also massively grateful to everyone that’s bought one of our items, liked or shared a post, or told their friend about Mocean Fitness, so we also wanted to give recognition to that. 🙏🏼

That’s why tomorrow, we’ll be participating in 💚🌿

COP26 Explained! 


COP26 was the United Nations 2021 climate change conference, whose primary goal was to ensure the commitments made during the Paris Agreement (COP21), were on track and progressing. 
During COP21, all 197 countries agreed to work together to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees - ‘Keep 1.5 alive' 


So back to COP26 - All countries agreed to the Glasgow Climate Pact, which outlined: 
🔻 An explicit plan to reduce the use of coal. (A 'phase-down' approach as opposed to a 'phase-out' one.)
💰 A pledge to increase financial aid to poor countries to help to cope with the effects of climate change and to switch to the use of clean energy. 
🌳 100 countries - with about 85% of the world's forests promised to stop deforestation by 2030. 
🏭 A scheme to cut 30% of methane emissions by 2030 was agreed by more than 100 countries. Methane is currently responsible for a third of human-generated warming. The big emitters China, Russia, and India haven't joined - but it's hoped they will later.


It's great to be moving forward, but there's still room for improvement. It’s thought that if the current pledges are met, they will still only limit global warming to around 2.4C.

Fast fashion - buy cheap, wear once mentality. Everything we are not. Apart from the obvious implications of 'worn once' garments being stuffed into landfill, the effects of fast fashion is detrimental to our oceans too. Textile dying is the second largest polluter of clean water globally, and since these companies are trying to make profit from that £8 t-shirt, the chances are they are cutting sustainability corners for it. That means cheap and toxic chemicals used for dying. Any guesses as to where these hazardous chemicals end up? That's right, our streams, our oceans and our marine life 💔
