Ways to get to York City Centre:

🚗Drive and park in one of the many city center car parks.

🚌Grimston Bar park and ride. Drive to Grimston Bar which is one junction up the A64, park your car and take the park and ride into town.

🚍The coast liner bus which leaves the village every 30 minutes and is a great option if you fancy a tipple.

🚖Taxi. There are many taxi firms in York. Uber isn't a big thing here so you may find it easier to use a York Taxi cab.

Local amenities within half a mile:

🍞Shop: The Village Stores is run by local boy Tom Loose and is a 2 minute walk away. He is a cash only shop so remember to bring some pennies 💷.

🍻 Pub: The Fox Inn is a 4 minute walk. A traditional English pub and restaurant with a real fire, serving freshly cooked food.

⛳Golf: Forest Park Golf Club is a 27 hole complex along with driving range. You can pay a play so you don't have to be a member to enjoy this facility. It is a 5 minute walk.

🌳Walks: almost directly over the road from the house is a public foot path which takes you on a nice walk through the countryside.

⛪Church: Holy Trinity Church, the church holds various functions which are both fund raising and enjoyable social occasions.

🏨Village Hall: Stockton on the Forest Village Hall.

🌷Garden Centre: Deans Garden Centre is a family run business and boasts a wonderful Cafe and gift shop. It is a 2 minute drive from the house.
