The big harvest!
As well as preparing for Hallowscream at York Maze & Hallowtween at York Maze, the team have been busy harvesting the Gruffalo themed giant maize maze! 🌽🙌 Maize is an annual crop, which means it grows from seed and matures and dies within one season. We harvest it in September before it dies where it is sent to feed local Jersey Cows who make some delicious ice cream! 🍦 😍 Soon, we’ll plough the field and start again with a new design the next year! Speaking of… what do you think next year’s theme will be?! 👀👇

“Such a fun day out” We could tell you all about a day out at York Maze, but @tips_from_a_yorkshire_mama has done a pretty good job of that: “We decided before the summer holidays that we would go on ONE family day out that we would have to pay for (as these days they’re so blooming expensive.) We have been to York Maze a few times now and it never disappoints. There is so much to do here I would highly recommend from pantomime tractor rides, dino/music maze, bouncing pillows and obstacles courses, volcano slides, shows, toboggans, giant maze the list goes on! What I love most about this place is everything is outdoors and what I call old school fun (no video games or fancy rides) just good old fashioned outdoor exploring playing and getting dirty fun! The kids LOVED it and so did my husband who’s not easy to please.
