As we are winding down for the holidays it's great to look back at what an amazing 2023 we had. Thank you to all our clients, old and new, for their continued support, we look forward to what 2024 has in store for us all!

Our 2023 Wrapped:

1) The websites we have built for our lovely customers have collectively received over half a billion visitors (571,511,132 to be exact). 💻

2) We responded to 18,168 requests for assistant and support. Mainly by email, but don't forget we love to chat too 📬

3) Our voice network has successfully routed 163,512 calls. Yes we look after phone and connectivity solutions for our customers as well. ☎️

4) We are proud to do our bit for the environment. We run a completely paperless office and both our own office and our data centre provider uses 100% renewable energy. We even generated our own electric this year from our recently installed solar panels on the roof of our York Office. Over 11 MWh's in total! 🔋

See Green Director Dan and pal Stu are taking part in the on Sunday, October 15th to raise much needed funds for our lovely client St Nicks, a centre for nature and green living in York.

St Nicks protects over 2000 species across the urban green spaces of York and runs an award winning recycling scheme from their electric vehicles and tricycles.

The charity also runs an important Ecotherapy programme for adults facing mental health challenges, enabling 100s of people to improve their physical and metal wellbeing through nature-connectedness.

By 'eck, it's Yorkshire Day! We love being based in the heart of Yorkshire, the beautiful city of York! We love how bloomin' friendly the Yorkshire folk are - what do you love!?

Many of our clients choose to have social media feeds on their website, it’s a great way to keep their own customers up to date with the latest happenings. However, people may have noticed that their Twitter feed has disappeared.

The social media giant has announced that the Twitter API - which allows us to add the feed to a website - will no longer be free, with users instead needing to subscribe to a paid for tier. Basic access is $100 a month, meaning that for the majority of clients, removing the feed altogether will be the likely solution.

The move comes after Facebook also made changes, which we’ve been able to support clients with - if you’d like to discuss your website’s social media feeds, get in touch!

We were asked to help Leeds Palliative Care Network, which provides information about palliative and end of life care services for adults in Leeds. Tough subject matter, but vital information. Here's what the client said:

We've been working with the Yorkshire and Humber Maternal Medicine Network on their new website. Their aim is to provide equitable and expert support for women with pre-existing or pregnancy-induced significant medical issues, to ensure sustainability of that care wherever in Y&H they may live, and additionally, to provide perinatal mental health support or other onward referral as required.

Home A Maternal Medicine Network consists of 1 or 2 large hospitals (Maternal medicine Centres) who work closely with all other hospitals in the region to provide a high standard of expert care to women with complex medical conditions.
