It’s back!

After a 12 month hiatus the Sustainable Style Swap is back! And we are offering early bird tickets until 31st December at a reduced rate of £15

We all know January is a long & dreary month & the first weekend of February is the perfect time to get back out there & start having some fun again.

What better way to do this than to hang out with like minded ladies who love Sustainability, Coffee & Clothes!

If you are a small indie business who would like to find out more about snapping up of of our selling spots for our guests to shop from on the day then do get in touch as we love supporting small & local female run businesses & the mixture of swapping & shopping was such a hit last year that we want to make it even bigger & better this time round 💚

Fantastic Personal Shop in Leeds yesterday with a lovely new client.
Chelsie was gifted a personal shopping experience by her partner.

Chelsie is a busy working mum & was looking for a versatile wardrobe to ensure she felt put together everyday.

My personal shops always start with a pre shop questionnaire & I spend time before we meet scouring the shops for items I think my clients will love. This means they also have rails of clothes ready waiting in the shops we visit.

Its finally here. The first Kids Sustainable Style Swap in support of Martin House childrens Hospice.
Join us on 9th July at Bishopthorpe Hall.

Are you coming along to the next Sustainable Style Swap on 26th June?
Its a great way to sustainably update your wardrobe AND edit your wardrobe so I thought I’d share my Top Tips for Editing Your Wardrobe

• Take everything out of your wardrobe & try it on. Only the items you love, suit your lifestyle & make you feel fabulous get a place in your wardrobe. Consider fit, style & colour. Do it suit your proportions & flatter your skin tone?

• Take out whats not in season for example heavy winter coats & knits in summer. Store these in vacuum bags to save space.

• Create seperate storage for things like occasion wear & holidays clothes. Only having clothes you actually wear in your wardrobe is key to creating confidence in your style & wardrobe.

• Do the same for any sentimental items - vacuum bags are great for this as they will protect your clothes too.

💚 Make a list of whats missing. Key staples & wardrobe basics such as a blazer or great denim. Keep a list on your phone so that when you’re shopping you can refer back to the list & not making impulse buys.

• Invest in matching hangers. I love the velvet covered ones as they create so much more space in your wardrobe.

♻️Make a pile of clothes that no longer serves you and bring along to the next sustainable style sway.

• Any clothes that a damaged can be taken to charity shops - most will take them for rags or recycling.

This is a selection of my jeans all different styles & more importantly sizes. When i shop for jeans (& clothes generally) I always choose what fits me best, if i have to size up or down that’s absolutely fine its all about the fit. 💙💙
