Heading home after catching up with the NovoTHOR team at the 30th Anniversary WALT conference in London hearing about great work into how photobiomodulation can help not only with pain relief but wound healing, cancer care, neuro rehab, brain health, stem cell and regenerative , medicine, reproductive health, metabolic disorders, bone and MSK, addiction, dermatology, sports and rehab, opthalmology......we're exhausted!!!

There was no snow ⛷️🎿 at this conference but we did enjoy the views of London ☺️.

It was lovely to see Emma Wurkoutfitness Moore in clinic this week before she heads off to run 215 miles in less than 100 hours in the Race Across Scotland - wow, just wow!! That's like running from York to London but with LOTS OF HILLS⛰️!!

Phil, Tristan and Kevin (owner of Athletica Health Physiotherapy Clinic ) at Featherstone Rovers RLFC last weekend 🏉

They were invited by the vice chair of Featherstone Rovers RLFC and owner of PMJ Masonry Paddy Handley to attend a game and given a tour of the facilities, including the teams existing health care provision. It was a privilege to see behind the scenes at the club and see the wonderful things Paddy has planned for the iconic rugby club and the proud people of Featherstone.

Great to be there alongside another local healthcare professional.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our yellow bin in the last 2.5 years - in that time, we have collected over a tonne in weight of donations at the clinic!! That's the weight of more than 10 chiropractors!!

These donations support various projects in our local community including one right on our own doorstep.........Vicky can often be found helping out at Tang Hall community cafe on a Friday which has a food bank and we make sure they have essential hygiene products.

Vicky and Nancy are getting ready to 'sleep out' to raise funds....

On the 18th of April they will be sleeping outside to raise much needed funds to support The Hygiene Bank as part of the CEO Sleepout UK in partnership with York City Football Club Foundation, SASH and Carecent York 🌙

It's a chance to highlight the impact of hygiene poverty and homelessness in our local community.

With the cost-of-living crisis, we have seen a rise in requests and the number of calls asking for help, so we are using this opportunity to raise vital funds to help us continue supporting our local community and those facing difficult times 💛
