Fossgate have learnt to play the A minor chord on their ukuleles and they demonstrate it fabulously in their new song A Minor Miracle. They are such cool rock stars!

Here at Haxby Road we have made the decision to ensure we are doing everything we can to promote and support the Mental Health of everyone in our school community. Mental Health is a thread that runs through each and every part of our school day. This is no more evident than in our newly created Reflection Room. This offers a calm and supportive environment for our children to really enjoy the time they deserve to think and talk about what it is to have positive mental health. In the reflection room we run 1:1 sessions focusing on key emotions, small group interventions to aid positive peer interactions and whole class circles where we are giving our children the language and skills they can take throughout their lives to continuously support their mental health. We are so proud of what we do at Haxby Road and would always welcome people to come and see what it is we do.
