Peace has been restored, with thanks to our incredibly clever and curious ghost hunters who attended our Haunting of Hudson events! We will be closing for restoration works from Sunday 10th November but there is still time to uncover our Corpex Codex as you explore the house during the day.

Ghost Week V

We’re back for the fifth instalment of Ghost Week with the York Ghost Merchants!

The year is 1871 and the Lord Mayor of York, George Leeman is hosting a get-together with an ulterior motive. The Mansion House is under threat from a familiar face… the spirit of previous Lord Mayor and infamous character around our fine City, George Hudson! Your mission dear detective, should you choose to accept, is to find cause and solution for the haunting of Hudson and return the home back to harmony.

Well that’s a wrap on another year of York Georgian Festival! We want to thank everyone for coming out and dancing, dining and doing all things historical!

You filled our hearts with joy with your support, smiles and wigs so high they could touch the sky! We are incredibly grateful for all of the collaborators who extended the reach of this fine festival across the City!
