Due to restricted access the Giken CB2-5 Clamp Crane is used to service the Giken as the installation works progress. The Clamp Crane walks along the tops of the previously installed piles behind the Giken. Limited access is no problem with this pair!

We are back working on the Leeds Flood Alleviation Project 🙌

On this section we are to supply and install 607 no sheet piles to form a flood defence wall using our Giken Supercrush and clamp crane.

The access is very limited with the river on one side and the railway tracks on the other. A pontoon is used to assist in distribution of sheet piles and ancillary equipment.

The team are hard at work at York Central 👷🏻‍♂️🏗️🚧

We're installing L607 >14.5m long sheet piles with our SCU 600M Giken in Supercrush mode. This is to form a temporary sheet piled wall ready for bridge widening works.

Lead auger stand fabricated in our workshop for J N Piling Ltd to use in their site storage containers. The base plate was profiled by our plasma cutter including the initials.

We've got snow on the A56 ❄️☃️🌨

This was the start of the week for our Giken SCU 600 Supercrush and it gradually got worse in the following days. Particularly bad in this area. Snow day!! ❄️☃️🌨

Starter piles READY! Our current project working nights on a road closure on the A56 near Rossendale in Lancashire. Another section of Leeds Flood Alleviation Project for BAM Nuttall. Here we're installing AZ26 sheet piles @ 15m using an RG16T Leader Rig and Sennebogen Crawler Crane and Fambo Impact Hammer attachment for the Leader Rig to get down to level.

We were recently back in Leeds for our 4th visit on the Leeds Flood Alleviation Scheme. Pre-augering first and install sheet piles using side grip vibro

With the growing cost of living crisis foodbank usgage is increasing with rising bills across the board. A situation that is forecast to accelerate as the year continues. Unfortunately Foodbanks are also experiencing a donation decrease with everyone feeling the pinch.

As part of our Social Value initiative J N Piling are proud to working with local charity and community service Easingwold District Community Care Association.

We've been making regular donations to their foodbank since November 2021 and here's the recent 'top up' shop we donated. We 'top up' the areas where the foodbank is running low and as you can see a little goes a long way.

We urge all companies in the position to help their local community to help the local foodbanks 🤗 if there ever was a time to start donating to your local foodbank THE TIME IS NOW!

Job compete at our recent site at the Delta Junction works on the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill extension to the Midland Metro tram network.

We were here installing 7.0m to 23.0m long ZZ24-700 steel sheet piles to form 2 No permanent retaining walls.

Due to the prevailing ground conditions the pile lines were pre-augered prior to pile installation using the telescopic leader rig to aid driveability and vibration transmission to the nearby tram lines.

The piles were then installed using the telescopic leader rig with variable moment variable frequency vibratory hammer.

The longer piles needed to be back-driven to level after they reached refusal with the vibratory hammer. Again, the telescopic leader rig was used to back-drive the refused piles with a Fambo impact hammer.

The telescopic leader rig showed its versatility by undertaking all 3 operations for pile installation.
