Beer 🤝 Wine Barrel

We have some new beers on from !
🍷Their Pinot Porter (our in-house fav) is a lighter than you'd expect porter, with super chocolatey and fruity notes having been aged in their old Pinot Noir barrels.
🍾And their Brut IPA, which is a double fermented once juice from their Seyval Blanc grapes and some sparkling wine yeast is added, which produces a nice dry and hoppy IPA. Best served on our new outdoor area... coming soon! 😎

Your Bank Holiday line-up; Pigs Cheek to start, followed by our Prime Rib Sharer, and A Blaze of Glory to finish.

🍷LYME BAY WINERY🌊

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting a tasting lunch for Lyme Bay Winery based in Devon. Along with Alex from Yorkshire Vintners, and Craig from LBWDrinks, Sarah, the Head Winemaker at Lyme Bay shared with us her immense and passion-driven knowledge of her wines, which are a fine fine example of what England has bring to the wine bar.

Ben, our Executive Chef, worked along side to produce some stunning seasonal dishes that teamed the wines perfectly to showcase what these wines are all about.

We're really excited to be working with this incredible winery.

“Really great find in York. We found this place by looking at the reviews and we're glad we did as its a bit tricky to find as its off the beaten track, down by the river front. Obviously very popular with locals though, looking for a great meal out. You definitely have to book (online is easy). Staff were very welcoming and super dog friendly. Dogs are allowed in the bar area (which is steeped in character). We had the steaks as our main meal and for my desert I had the cheese platter, which even came with its own menu. We really enjoyed our meal here and would definitely return.”
