Earlier this year, we launched this great course from Martha Diede, from the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence at Syracuse University, on working with emotions to stimulate learning, persistence, and intellectual growth.
The course includes a helpful activity showing how to look for moments in your teaching when you can address emotions that can be causing discomfort or uncertainty. Attention to these moments is important, as is helping your students to be emotionally agile.
