🔺Responsibilities:
• Work on various types of door/window locks and security systems
• Fit new locks, replace, service and adjust existing locks and doors
• Gain entry to locked doors using appropriate methods
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to locks and security systems
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

🔺Requirements:
• Must be mechanically minded and ideally have an understanding of basic lock mechanisms work and be able to use hand and power tools
• Locksmith experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided to the right candidate
• Must have a valid UK driving license
• Good time management skills
• Ability to problem-solve and overcome challenges
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

A job we did today for a race course after another contractor had gained entry but unfortunately damaged the door and lock case in the process.

We fitted a new lock case, new temporary cylinder and repaired the damaged door.

We have ordered a new suited cylinder to work with the managements master key and we will return to fit this when it arrives to get their master suited system all working smoothly again.

A master suited system is a fantastic way of keeping keys to a minimum, it’s so convenient as you can have 1 key that works ALL door locks on the system which would be the Master Key, then you can also have a sub master which would only allow people to gain access to certain doors or departments only, but not all of the doors in the building. Then you can have differ keys which would only work the front door and a tenants room only, and so on. The possibilities are endless!

This works great for landlords and businesses who need certain people to have 1 key to access ALL doors, but the tenants/staff members key would for example only operate the front door and their room / office door, but the cleaners can have a sub master that lets them into all the offices and rooms, but not some rooms which you wouldn’t want them to have access to

High security Anti snap locks

⚠️ With the theft rate of vehicles up and on the rise in York recently we are finding we are fitting more high security anti snap cylinders to doors after people have unfortunately been broken into ⚠️

Normally the thieves will snap the cylinder out and take the car keys from the house then simply drive away with the car, normally done very quickly during the night while you are asleep 😩

✅ With the high security ABS Anti snap cylinders this prevents the common way thieves gain entry to the property and most of them will know not to even attempt to gain entry if they see this lock with it being one of the most secure cylinders on the market - 3 star rated, sold secure diamond accreditation and police security initiative “secure by design” ✅
