This is the best way to get more portions from any cake. Evenly cut it into four or more slices and then cut those in half.

This cake made 8 large portions or 16 smaller slices!

Cake Prices explained.
Saw this posted by another Baker and it makes you realise that most people probably don't know the hidden costs and efforts made by a cake make to deliver that special celebration treat.
Custom cakes can take hours to decorate, sometimes days, that's not including the time spent with a customer deciding design, flavour etc... The shopping for ingredients, the baking or cleaning up time.
Anything custom made will cost more than heavily produced items.
I'm a one man band getting up at silly o'clock most days to produce lovely cakes for my lovely customers. Please don't expect to get Tesco prices from me.
My time is very valuable. Much love xx
