Antique Restoration

One of a large set of chairs, back leg damaged beyond reasonable repair so needed to be replaced, polished and distressed to match the rest of the piece

Dog damage restoration on this beautiful little rosewood peice. All sorted and back with its owner (hopefully he's forgiven the dog 🙈)

An unusual recent commission for a local stately home. Oak framed toughened glass should see this beast preserved for many more years to come

It's been an exciting morning here in the workshop filming some restoration for an upcoming episode of winter on the farm. We can't tell you what it is yet, the grand reveal will be on channel 5 this Christmas Eve 😉

Pair of cabinets made for one of our trade customers who specialises in paint finishes. Would love to see these when he's worked his magic 👌

This little squeeze box came in for a little restoration. New leather straps colour matched to the original. Red velvet liner replaced and a general tidy up.

Finished this lovely little piece today. Lots of veneer repairs done to the marquetry and polished to match the original finish

Just finished up this lovely little bench ready for sunshine in the garden. New mahogany timber oiled up for many more years of service 👌

We have just had this stunning peice come through our workshop to be polished and matched to an existing peice the customer already had. Always nice to see customers return 👌

New lease of life. This peice didn't fit the requirements of our customer so he brought it to us to make the necessary adjustments. New bottom 3rd added and polished to match an existing peice,

It's not just antiques here in the workshop. We've just completed this pair of burr Oak bedside cabinets 👌

Earlier this month we spent some time at Wentworth Woodhouse near Rotherham.
We were there to appraise and then advise on the reinstation of the timber paneling in the soon to be restored camellia house.
It's an exciting opportunity for us to be involved in this project.

Corner cupboard in for some minor restoration. Lots of the dentils across the top moulding missing. All repaired and looking lovely

The shape of that seat 👌 this beautiful stool came in with broken and missing rails,
new rails made and wear added before staining and polishing match. Quite possibly the nicest stool we've worked on!!!

25 drawer Haberdashery shop fitting, came in for a much needed clean and a few minor repairs. Will serve for many more years to come now 👌

Lovely roll top desk came in for an overhaul, we're certainly happy with how this one turned out. Lots of elbow grease needed but worth the effort 👌

Rosewood Piano, finished and ready for collection. Some veneer repairs and polishing required when it arrived. A lovely if somewhat heavy piece to work on 👌

A Lovely small mahogany drop leaf table with drawers which had received some major damage to it's leg and missing stringing.
New Parts for the leg were turned and polished in to match and the stringing was also replaced without damaging to the surrounding polish.
It came up lovely in the end 👌

Beautiful rosewood piano in for restoration.
