A Georgian man in Tbilisi bought a Lada in 1991.

On the first night of ownership of the Lada somebody stole his wheels and tires. This angered him to no end. Subsequently, he called up a crane the next day to hoist the Lada up onto his balcony until the better day arrives.

Well to him the better day never came, and he passed away in 2016. The Lada that the owner never enjoyed while alive was hoisted down from the balcony after his passing. I heard a similar story with a Melbourne man lifting his car onto a high rise. However, I don’t think that was a Lada.

Moral of the story: Whether it is a Lada, or a Lamborghini, enjoy while you can!
