Come and visit our coffee shop in Mill Street, with a selection of origins from local roasters
Sorry everyone, but we won’t be serving coffee today due to staff illness - will keep you posted for tomorrow.
I can make a pretty epic cup of joe, but graphic designer I am not!
Regardless, you get the message. Roasted by and brewed by us bros at BAO. Got that?
Open daily from 8am. Be there, or drink terrible coffee.
If anybody wants coffee from the box today they’ll need to bring a Tree Surgeon…
Where?

The day has come.
You’ll now find us at 31 Mill Street.
We’ve expanded the retail lines and now extending our supply of fresh roasted beans into offices (more info to follow), but don’t worry, you can still grab a take away coffee.
Open fro 7.30
If you’re reading this being as cynical as Mr Taylor, you might be thinking “tomorrow never arrives…”
If you’re reading this (being non-cynical) on Sunday 27th August, you can expect a decent coffee tomorrow (August Bank Holiday Monday).
100% organic coffee, Fairtrade too…

“Insert Coffee Pun Here”
Sorry, “bean” busy - couldn’t think up a better line…
Can you do better?
Coffee puns below please.
Coffee and wood paneling…
Taylor’s Coffee Shop you’re soooooo on trend!
Warm bro!
Cold Brew?
Yeah Bra!
Cool off, perk up, plod on 👍
On a serious note, cold brew is made with single origin coffees, steeped in cold water for approx. 24 hours. Tastes totally different to your regular coffee, but it’s bloney refreshing on a hot day…
Have you tried it?
The espresso machine was turned on about 10 minutes ago - it’ll be raring to go in 20 mins.
The pastries are in the oven - they’ll be smelling epic and ready to eat in 20 minutes…
You’re reading this, and if you’re in Guernsey… you’ll be less than 20
minutes away from us…
I believe that’s called fate? But we’re open til 2.30 today if you fancy another 10 mins in bed…
Thanks to everyone who stopped into the shop yesterday, you raised a cracking sum for the St Peter Port Lifeboat 👌
Donation Day…
Our card machine has gone FUTU, whilst I tear my hear out with automated chatbots… payments for coffee etc can be made through a donation to the St Peter Port Lifeboat 👍
Come and show your support eh
Ah yes, we are serving a fine brew on this fine morning.

True story
Brew time brah
A lovely customer delivered these flowers into the coffee shop...
You know who your are and you’re a star!
Spend your Sunday swanning around town... 😉
Dear all,
I just wanted to provide a short update following recent media coverage about our alfresco offering. I don’t feel my full views have necessarily come across in the coverage. I wasn’t seeking to make any kind of point by not renewing our alfresco licence and the issue was brought to the fore when I declared this during a recent States Meeting.
My interpretation of the relevant requirements combined with general observations around St Peter Port, led me to the view that the limited seating provided would not be deemed an obstruction of the highway – to my knowledge no complaints have been made to the contrary.
The tables & chairs have been removed from the pavement and a new application has been distributed to the relevant bodies for comment, with an expected court date in early July.
As a business owner and States Member I recognise the importance of following the rules. I’m sorry if my comments reported in the media left the impression I felt otherwise. That is wholeheartedly not the case.
Thank you for reading, Andy

Starting my day with a &
If you’re thinking that’s a wierd combo, it’s not the British “baby style” rusk mush (which I have quite a love of too...). It’s the South African style rusk with lots of lovely seeds mixed in - bloney lovely and a hearty start to the day

Coffee & Chat
Opened in October 2019, a space designed for the production & enjoyment of great coffee.
So, coffee comes first, but there are lots of lovely things that go with coffee, which is why we’re also serving up a few extra bits!
Overnight Oats - have you tried them? GF Oats, soaked overnight in coconut milk and flavoured with fruit or peanut butter - delish!
Pastries - because who doesn’t enjoy a pecan plait with their flat white? Each morning we bake up a lovely selection of pastries (& a few Portuguese Custard Tarts!)
Sourdough Sarnies - no fixed menu, we make them each day using the fillings that take our fancy.
