Equilibrium Massage Therapy

I used to think my job as a healer, was to fix people. That to be a true healer, was to give every bit of myself to a person to a level that was always detrimental. But as I've progressed through this journey, I realized that isn't it at all. That a healer's job is to heal themselves. That I should have been pouring all of my love, and energy into myself first and foremost the whole time. Then once this is done, you lead by example. You show others around you, by your growth and self-love that healing is possible. You tell your story, become the wayshower, and teach others how you accomplished this. You love yourself unconditionally, and realise that you, and everything around you is magic. That just by being your authentic self, raises and changes your vibration and encourages everyone around you to be their true authentic selves as well.

The light, has always been inside of you. 🙏

Son, ‘so how was work today Dad?’

Dad, ‘oh, you know standard day. The Angels rejoiced, the higher frequencies were off the chart and the universe gifted me the universal energy to create something quite beautiful today for someone special’.

Son, ‘So standard day then !’

I often wonder at what level of consciousness that conversation would actually have on the development of ‘becoming aware’ on my children? Not to say that conversation doesn’t happen in our house. A child’s sight on our world is seen through a different filter. Becoming ever aware of their own ‘being’ or being ‘present’ only brings an earlier appreciation of their selves, their existence and their purpose and abilities and that brings only love into the world.

I am blessed to have one son, a visionary and the other with intuition far beyond his years.

Like every parent won’t it be interesting to see what they become ?

In Zen they say: "Don't seek the truth. Just cease to cherish opinions." What does that mean? Let go of identification with your mind. Who you are beyond the mind then emerges by itself.

Living one day at a time to be a better version of myself

The "double-slit experiment" is used in physics to observe the behaviour of subatomic particles.

The experiment reveals that the act of observation in itself, influences how the particles behave.

Here at Equilibrium Massage Therapy we have fine tuned energy work to find the individual layers of a persons energy fields and in essence 'influence' the energy to bring balance to the client with astounding results.

Many to this day still perceive this as voodoo. So you may be surprised to learn that there is actually a huge amount of work being done around the world in this regard and unlike here or in the UK a lot of countries are now taking this very seriously and furthermore incorporating this work to compliment and work in conjunction with modern medicine.

After 25 years of practicing energy work I feel society is now beginning to look for exactly this kind of alternative therapy.

It's a fascinating exploration that scientists still can't quantify yet but are having to start to accept that there is something in it.

Wow an incredible day and a long day but it went so fast.

Excellent students today the energy in the room was beautiful and a reflection of the wonderful humans that participated in today’s Reiki Stage 1.

As a ‘Reiki Master’ I can honestly say it has been enlightening and personally very humbling, inspiring and rewarding and I have also learnt a lot.

I hope to run more of these courses through 2024.

Equilibrium is soon to be offering ‘energy work’ classes.

Based primarily in the roots and foundation of the reiki system with the advantage of 25yrs of healing experience the plan is to take the next generation of healers to understand how much further we have evolved and what we are capable of.

I have come to realise that the answers to the mysteries of our existence are not hidden, they are patiently waiting for us to extend our vision beyond the dense limits of matter.

In general we are seeing a hike in prices everywhere and for the most I’d say it’s ridiculous but then stopping and thinking about it logically, there are issues such as shipping costs which have gone up partly because of fuel prices etc. which then have an impact of price of product.

Here at Equilibrium our costs go up as little as often but every year the addition of counterless treatments I’ve provided which in turn develops and learns more as a ‘whole healer’ deserves some reward.

In my opinion I feel my prices are valid.

For my price increases because every next client gets an enhanced benefit and version of my forever changing self

Now I know these are statistics from the Uk but you could apply a level of common sense and percentage to population to have a rough idea the cost to company’s because they don’t look after their staff.

I’m not saying massage is the ‘fixer’ but an all round approach using holistic techniques could be a game changer for some companies and for a faction of the price on a monthly basis!

Loss of chargeable hours monthly is at ridiculous levels and could be redeemed by a simple and (cheap in comparison) regular well being plan.

Anyway my thoughts 💭

And this sums up my life, my work and my commitment to improve the quality of my life and those that surround me 💜

Equilibrium is stepping into another level and this is an exciting time ❤️‍🩹

As a therapist myself i often take my work home, that being sometimes either blessed by the happiness of my clients or the opposite, devastated by their trauma.

I have chosen two methods to help and heal. One being clinical massage, the other being an energy worker and tapping into something far greater.

My point here is neither are taken lightly, neither are a 9 to 5 job.

Every person I meet I ‘see’ and I ‘feel’ and that whilst could be considered a gift and also to some degree be a kind of curse as well all because I genuinely care.

For the 1st 30 years of my life I chased money. Now if I get by (which I’m happy to say I do) that’s enough for me I’ve finally realised I’m not driven for that purpose. God it took long enough !

I do what I do because I’m driven to support and care for the community and people in it.

My job has never been 9 to 5 and I wouldn’t change it for he world because the joy it brings me I have no words to justify it fully.

My soul mate Marie completes me, she understands all of these pressures and knows intuitively how and what to do to help me when times are and have been tough.

The next step for me, for equilibrium is to learn to be kinder to myself and rest myself more mentally. I have been fortunate enough to have someone now that considers us a team and we are in it together and this has made me come out stronger.
