DIVISION 3 LEAGUE 2ND LEG RESUMES ON 5TH SEPTEMBER, 2021

The first leg of our Division 3 League has come to a successful end, following the week seven matches played on Sunday 15th August, 2021.

Clubs participating in the league have been given two weeks break, for which they will prepare for the second leg.

The second leg of the league shall resume on Sunday 5th September, 2021.

CEO of Tamale City FC and management committee member of GHANA BLACK STARS, Mr. Jones Abu Alhassan passed on.

Ghana’s renowned football administrator, Mr Jones Alhassan Abu is reported dead in Ivory Coast this morning. The report indicates that the Chief Executive Officer of the Zone One outfit died at the hospital in Ivory Coast at 5:00 am on Tuesday, 10th July 2021.

Mr Alhassan Abu was a member of Ghana’s contingent for the double header friendlies against Mali and Qatar in Turkey. He was a management committee member of the Black Stars.

Jones was also part of the contingent that sent Hasaacas Ladies F.C. to Ivory Coast for the maiden qualifications of the women’s champion league.

He was the Chief Executive Officer of Tamale base Division One League side, Tamale City FC and has been very instrumental in the successes of so many clubs and players.

According to the information received by sportsmrnews.com, Jones was reported to have collapse at the airport in Ivory Coast when Hassacas Ladies was to return to Ghana and was rushed to the hospital.

Ghana has lost an illustrious football administrator and son and he will forever be remembered for his good works. Go well.

And we took all 3 points at the end of the local derby at the Ghallywood Park, Dawa. Our striker Enoch Sina Teye Doleh was fouled in the goal area during the second half of the game, which resulted in a penalty kick in favour of the Eagles. Defender Philip Maccarthy took the penalty beautifully to score the only goal that gave us the win.
