At Ecobank Group, we have announced key strategic top-level appointments to strengthen our leadership team and spearhead the ex*****on of our new Growth, Transformation and Returns (GTR) Group strategy. The newly appointed senior executives bring robust professional backgrounds in their respective areas of expertise, coupled with extensive experience operating across diverse geographic regions. Their appointments will further accelerate the next phase of our growth and development.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Abena Osei-Poku as Regional Executive for Anglophone West Africa and Managing Director of Ghana. Martin Miruka joins as Group Executive for Transformation, Enablement and Customer Experience. We also welcome Anup Suri as Group Executive Commercial and Consumer Banking division.

In addition, Michael Larbie joins as the Group Executive for Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), and Thierry Mbimi has been appointed as Group Executive, Internal Audit & Management Services.

Yesterday, we honoured our Consumer Banking and Customer Experience teams for their exceptional dedication and commitment to delivering outstanding service. Their unwavering dedication and excellence led us to clinch the #1 spot in the Ghana Retail Banking segment of the 2023 West Africa Banking Industry Customer Experience Survey by KPMG. It was a moment brimming with pride and gratitude as we celebrated their tireless efforts in providing our customers with to banking.

Last Friday, we donated some items to St. Paul's Senior High School in Denu, Volta Region, to climax our Sustainability Week Celebration. The items included dustbins, exercise books, and handwash basins made from recycled materials.

In addition, our partner Zoomlion Ghana Limited educated the students on sustainability and launched the SPACO branch of Zoom Ambassadors.
