harmacist Responsibilities:

Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.

Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.

Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.

Conducting health and wellness screenings.

Providing immunizations, and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.

Keeping accurate customer records.

Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.

Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.

Performing other administrative tasks when needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
>Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
>Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive
>Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
>Organising events and conferences
>Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines
>Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
>Managing databases and filing systems
>Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
>Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
>Collating and filing expenses
>Miscellaneous tasks to support their manager, which will vary according to the sector and to the manager’s remit, eg completing some corporate governance reporting (to ensure that the business is being run properly and complying with legislation and regulations) or conducting research.

Obtaining patient prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists.

Taking customer information and measurements of the ocular area.

Recommending frames or contact lenses that suit the customer's style, face, and specifications.

Adjusting and fitting frames according to the prescriptions and customer's specifications, as well as to suit the customer's face.

Preparing work orders for the optical technicians to use to manufacture the lenses.

Using specialized equipment, such as calipers, lensometers, and lens gauges.

Keeping inventory on frames and contact lenses to ensure product variety and customer satisfaction.

Repairing broken frames.

Educating customers on how to wear and maintain glasses and contact lenses.

Performing administrative duties, such as managing prescriptions, customer records, and insurance.

Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

General computer proficiency

Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability

Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.

Diagnose and treat ocular disease.

Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.

Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.

Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.

Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions.

Direct staff and assist in the development of the overall practice
• Any other responsibilities assigned by management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
1. Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
2. Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
3. Administer Physician-prescribed medication.
4. Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
5. Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies.
6. Coordinate with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other individuals in the patient’s care plan.
7. Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
8. Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient

Delivering and picking up orders to customers
Ensuring all scheduled deliveries are made on time
Ensuring that the motorcycle is cleaned routinely
Carrying out daily inspection on the general condition of assigned motorcycle and properly locking motorcycle when there is a need to leave it.

Qualification, Experience, Education, Skills and so on the candidate should possess

SSCE or its equivalent
Must be a skilled motorcycle rider
Must possess a valid rider’s licence
Ability to speak,understand and write English
Ability to work under pressure
Must be physically fit
Must be reliable and punctual

Pharmacy Assistant Job Duties:
Dispenses prescription medication and other medical products to patients under direction of licensed pharmacist

Counts pills, labels bottles, prices, and compounds medications to prepare prescriptions for patients as directed

Performs administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription orders, operating cash registers, and restocking inventory

Gathers, organises, and assesses patient information

Supplies patients with information and education on their prescriptions

Monitors prescription-filling process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy policies

Liaises with healthcare providers and patients to obtain correct prescription information

Answers patients' questions about their medications under the supervision of the pharmacist

Takes inventory of drugs on hand and records results

Places orders for additional drugs as directed by the pharmacist

Prepares billing information for medications

Completes patients' sales transactions for purchase of prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as other pharmaceutical products
