Dear professional, how do you look?
Have you wondered why you were bypassed for that promotion even though you work so hard? It COULD be because of how you for work.
The reality is that we are addressed and treated based on how we dress. Not being mindful of our appearance sends the wrong signals about us.

Dressing for success simply means looking professional according to your workplace culture and its dress code. The kind of work you do needs to be taken into consideration.
Your employer, colleagues and clients might assume that, if you don’t care enough to look , you also probably don’t care enough to behave professionally in other ways and such an impression could hurt your career prospects.

But do you know and really understand your dress code? Ask your employer or Human Resources Manager for clarification. What if you don’t like your company’s dress code? Well, it’s about showing respect for the organisation that is paying you, your colleagues and clients because “dressing well is a form of good manners” - Tom Ford.

In social settings, do well to dress according to the occasion. When in doubt, ask for the dress code and dress accordingly so that you do not look and feel odd.

Be on point by remembering to put your on a silent mode whenever and wherever necessary.

Where else should we be mindful and put our mobile device on silent?

Greetings from the countryside.
I am fascinated by nature, nothing compares to its beauty.

My work requires that I sometimes travel by air or land.
While I love the former, I enjoy the latter because I get to make brief stops, enjoy fresh air and make few purchases here and there.

It is a delight to see the smiles on the faces of the "small business owners" after patronising their goods.

A week ago, while returning from a training session at the National Girls in ICT in , me made a brief stop to purchase some few items, including .
I especially love sweet and fresh 🥥 water.

Comment with a "yes" if you also love nature?

This week, be determined to put a smile on someone's face and be courteous to those you meet.
Have an amazing week.

It is a beautiful throwback to a weekend well spent at the Ahafo Mine Site of Newmont Africa a couple of months ago.

We had three different practical sessions for some of the mining professionals and students of International School of Ahafo.

🍽 The adults enjoyed the Fine Dining session and learnt all that it takes for one to shine at the dinner table.

Also, it was a delight to teach the students Etiquette & Refinement. We had so much fun.

Are you a business or school owner who would want an impactful etiquette and refinement training for your staff or students? Why don't you talk to us today?

Do you have a dream? What is stopping you from achieving it?
An initial failed attempt or some limitations may make you shy away from your dream. Is that the case with you? Well, you can get on track.

It helps to focus on the possibilities instead of the limitations.
Try these this week:
• stop the self pity and get up
• be positive
• put your best foot forward
• step out of the door with a
• gratefully and gracefully accept help (you cannot always do everything alone).

On top of them all, remember that displaying good will surprisingly open closed doors for you.

Have a productive week and stay tuned for your favourite informative content.

My sentiment at the sight of Boti Falls is captured in the short video in the comments🤩

Etiquette and safety tips:
• pay attention to warning signs posted near waterfalls.
• ensure you do not have open wounds before swimming.
.. and take lots and lots of photos!

To reach the falls and its sandy beach, we had to descend 250 concrete steps. It was so much fun going but having to ascend the same number of steps was heart racing for some of us☺️
