Spotlighting excellent Ghanaians and Ghanaian-owned businesses in Ghana and the diaspora.
Today we celebrate, Mr. Anthony Dzamefe, a multiple award-winning entrepreneur and the CEO of CavemanWatches and TimepieceGh.
Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration And Management from UPSA.
After experiencing life in the corporate sector for some time, Mr. Dzamefe identified that he needed more freedom to test his creativity and abilities so he resigned to embark on his entrepreneurial journey where he founded Timepiece GH, a trusted Ghanaian Wristwatch retail and repair company.
After some time, he felt disappointed that all the watches he sold were imported with no significant watch brand coming from Africa. He took the vow to manufacture a watch brand that will rub shoulders with the giants in the global watch market leading him to the invention of Ghana’s fast-rising The New York Times-endorsed watch brand, CAVEMAN GH.
Cavemanwatches was awarded BRAND OF THE YEAR, at the 2022 EMY Africa Awards.

Yes, being patient may sound tedious and unappealing, but the reward is well worth the wait. The longer it takes to reach a goal, the more satisfying it is when you finally accomplish it. You can then look back on your journey and feel proud that you were patient enough to stick to your path. -

Lots of developments and global organizations looking into the market and interested with some notable ones looking to launch in 2021. But if we don’t do better and continue to work at this rate, we won’t be able to effectively take advantage of it to deliver value to ourselves and the ecosystem." - Sadiq Abdulai Abu
