Many students within the Sagnerigu Municipality go to school without footwear.
Some go to school without a uniform, others are in uniforms but there are patches everywhere.
Again, many go to school without school bags, no Reading and Writing books.
It is on this note that we the Volunteers for Social Change(V4SC), a nonprofit and nongovernmental organization are organizing recourse to help students in selected schools within the municipality.
This is part of our project dubbed"Support a Child In School(SCS-Project).
So if you're touched and want to support us, please, do because these children are our national assets.

In Ghana, we celebrate National Volunteers Day on September 21, every year.

(NVDay) is a day slated for the September 21 of every year which is also Founder's Day by the Ghana Think Foundation.

The NVDay initiative is now part of the 's Ghana Volunteer Program (GVP) which is also to promote volunteerism and volunteer activities in Ghana while getting more volunteers for this. The program was launched on , 5 December 2013

V4SC is currently implementing its SPEAK AGAINST IT project within the Sagnerigu Municipal. The project is aimed at reducing the number of teenage pregnancies in the Municipality.

Every year, August 12 is preserved to celebrate the youth for their contributions to the development of their communities, nations and the world at large. This year, the day was observed on Thursday August 12, 2021 with the theme "Transforming Food System: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health"
calling on the youth to take up activities that will ensure food security for the world.
To mark the day, YfEL Ghana in collaboration with the Catholic Relief Service(CRS) organized tree planting exercise and fun games at the Malshegu Youth Center.
Many youth participated including the Sagnerigu Youth Parliament. Our Team Leader Adam Abdul-Fatawu Wunizoya participated in event.

V4sC joins end child marriage campaign Volunteers for Social Change(V4SC) a non-profit organization in Tamale has joined the calls by many to end child marriage in the country.

August 12, every year marks the International day of the youth. We at the V4SC wish all youth a happy Youth Day celebration in advance. We call on the youth to be responsible. Rf Ake your future as your baby and nurture it to grow to the man/woman you will want it to be.

Today we (V4SC) had the opportunity to take part in a Reproductive Health dialogue program organized by the Northern Youth Authority in Collaboration with Norsaac and the Martha Inspires Foundation in Tamale.
The dialogue was attended by many youth organizations in the region including the Volunteers for Social Change (V4SC). On behalf of the entire team, I say thanks to the organizers for allowing us to attend.
Matters discussed included:
Teenage Pregnancies, Unsafe abortions, the need for use of contraceptives, Sexual Reproductive Health Education among others.

End Child Marriage is the hot issue now. As a Social Change Volunteers we wish to add our voice to the already existing voices towards ending the menace. END CHILD MARRIAGE NOW
