The Global Day of Play was initiated by Coaches Across Continents on 27 August, s a response to the declining availability of dedicated playtime in communities worldwide, This special day serves several key objectives; Raising Awareness, and Creating Play Opportunities ⚽️
Ici c'est bientôt la rentrée pour nos petits écoliers 🇫🇷 , mais de leur côté les Ghanéens doivent patienter encore un mois. Là-bas, c'est la saison des pluies, les enfants aident à la maison, aux champs. Les entrainements sont donc moins intenses.
Qui dit rentrée dit nouvelle énergie pour créer des projets. Vous êtes prêts ? 🔥

We are privileged to took part by two (2) of our Coaches at just ended Lincence " D" Coaching course organized by Ghana Football Association . The course aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of Coaches at the grassroots football development. Rural Soccer Ghana - RSG also aims to support the young men and women in our communities to develop their potential to the full and the best way to do this than to use sports as a vehicle for youth development.

Une magnifique journée a l’occasion du tournoi annuel Nicolas Chavanon à Marcillac, organisée à merveille par Foot Vallon et ses bénévoles en or, merci à eux 👏
La somme de 391€ est revenue à Rural Soccer Ghana - RSG grâce à votre participation à la tombola 🫶🤝
Ces fonds contribueront à financer le site internet de l’association ainsi que les projets du prochain voyage au Ghana prévu en 2025, axé sur la santé, avec notamment la prise en charge de l’assurance maladie de tous les enfants de l’association 🙏

Le petit déjeuner se déroulera au Stade Kervallon à Marcillac à partir de 8h.
La partie sportive se déroulera au stade Nicolas Chavanon de St Christophe à partir de 10h30.
Découverte d'une pratique diversifiée " Le foot en Marchant" à partir de 12h.

⚽ DIMANCHE 23 JUIN a lieu le tournoi Nicolas Chavanon au stade de Marcillac Vallon, organisé par notre partenaire Foot Vallon
C'est un moment de l'année très important car à cette occasion, RSG est à l’honneur avec des stands, des affichages, des photos, des souvenirs des nombreux voyages au Ghana…
La journée est accessible à tous ! Sportifs ou pas, vous pouvez participer à la journée de différentes façons :
- Tenter votre chance à la tombola, sur place ou à distance en remettant par exemple l'argent à une personne tierce.
- Venir déjeuner sur place, nous vous promettons un beau moment de convivialité et de partages.
- Faire le tournoi en créant une équipe de 6 joueurs (ou vous faire connaitre si vous souhaitez jouer mais que vous n'avez pas de coéquipiers)

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PLAY
The first-ever International Day of Play, to be observed on 11 June 2024, marks a significant milestone in efforts to preserve, promote, and prioritize playing so that all people, especially children, can reap the rewards and thrive to their full potential.
One of our aims and objectives is to put smiles on the faces of kids. The whole point of playing is having fun, as well as picking up new skills .

What is RSG ?
Rural Soccer Ghana (RSG) is a non- profit organisation, operates in Northern Region of Ghana. It was established in 2019 by Mrs. Laure Arnal as a founder/ President and Lukman Kadiri as Co-Founder/Coordinator.
RSG Ghana is sports for the youth organization operating mainly in deprived communities (Kalariga, Kpanvo, Bamvom all in Tamale South of Northern Region, Ghana. It serves under privileged boys and girls in rural communities in terms of their needs through sports. It also to promote sound health and wellness of the youth, particular girl child education. Though football activities we engage interested parties to take closer look at their child development. When kid’s developments are properly managed they do not get involved in anti-social activities that end up being nuisance in the community. It is a community owned and contributes to overall to the child development through football. The emphasis of RSG Ghana’s football projects is on participation, personal and social development and fun. Although football is a competitive sport, our projects work to engage young people regardless of individual skill, ability and s*x. Other activities includes, supporting child education by organizing evening studies after regular classes for our beneficiaries of our programme to improve upon the performance of the pupils. As it is obvious that school pupil in the cities/urban centers benefit from extra classes funded by parents that give them advantage to gain admission to good school. Our intervention is to supplement the normal classes.
