Ian and Sandra visited the motherland to discover the truth about the Trans Atlantic Slave era and also to connect to their ancestors. They decided to get renamed as a result of their discovery. With honor we introduce Mr. Nii Adjertey Obedeka and Mrs Naa Adjerley Obedeka. Proud Ghanaians from the Obedeka family in Bubiashie, a suburb of Accra.

We continue to bridge the void and gap that was left as a result of our ancestors actions and inactions.
Come home and tour with us for the best experience of your life πŸ₯³βœŒοΈπŸ™

Died on 1733/1750 at Jamaica

For over 30 years she fought and freed over 800 slaves on the island of Jamaica. There are many stories about her, it is said that, she was a queen in Ghana from the warrior Ashante tribe when she was captured and brought to Jamaica where she later escaped and led an armed revolt against the British Empire in the mountains and jungles of Jamaica for two decades.

she used guerilla warfare to fight the British who suffered great loss and later settled with a peace treaty to spare their men. She was a powerful spiritual voodoo priestess who would use her powers to shield her fighters from the attacks of the British.

One British officer who was lucky to survived her encounter described her as being small, muscular and strong with intense eyes. She wore a girdle with at least 10 different combat kn iv es. Queen Nanny a Jamaica's only female hero and there are still Maroons living in Jamaica today. πŸ€ŽπŸ–€

The river you see behind is not just any river. It's a symbolic one indeed. This is the river of connection. ( The ancestral Slave river in Ghana was where african ancestors shipped to the new world took their last bath, compelled to make over 3000 miles journey in shackles before taken to the insanitary dungeons. It still lies waiting to accept a reconnection. Make a Ghana πŸ‡¬πŸ‡ a choice of destination and will take you through the black heritage. Don't hesitate. Just sign up with
