The country's top movie production house last month completed the task after dedicating several days touring places within Serrekunda and shooting film episodes to target a wider audience. Looking forward to more collaboration.

It was a great amusement that our Director was interviewed by the West Africa Democracy Radio through its host Mr. James Adjapong of Ghana.

Director Cham had the privilege to join the platform with his Nigerian brother Mr. Phil Roberts, who is the current Vice President of the Nigerian Creative Industry which incorporates the movie industry.

The program was centered around how to uplift the continent's film industry by skimming at the triumphs and impediments in our various countries.

Director Cham was immersed as an iconic Gambian filmmaker who has the mindset that young people of this country need the prospect to unleash their potential and that Gambian youths yearn to be granted agency to allow them to do their own thing.

Our Director trained and directed the movie titled "The Extraordinary Boy" which is set for premiere this December. The movie is designed to promote Gambian culture and talent.

Today, a delegation from the Gamstars film project who have undergone months of training and mentorship have met the Deputy Mayor of Kanifing Municipal Council to discuss their contribution to the production sector of our economy.

The delegate also briefed the Deputy Mayor on their upcoming projects and how they intend to effect change in the lives and livelihood of many young people within the Municipality.
