Irida A.I. Technologies is proud to announce our partnership with RWE Italia to enhance wildlife protection at the San Severo wind farm in the Puglia region. 🚀

🔧 We will be installing 12 Bird Protect Day&Night systems to safeguard wild avifauna, including night birds, around the wind farm. With the addition of our Bat protection module, we will also ensure the safety of chiropters. 🦅🦇

💡 Our highly accurate ML Algorithm guarantees zero false positive detections, optimizing both wildlife protection and energy production. 🌱⚡

San Severo wind farm, consisting of 12 Siemens Gamesa SG145 wind turbines, will provide green power to 70,000 homes per year in Italy. 🇮🇹🏠

This is a significant step towards sustainable energy solutions and wildlife conservation. Kudos to the IRIDA team and our partners at RWE Italia!

Bird Protect, IRIDA A.I. TECHNOLOGIES innovative environmental monitoring system, is installed on a meteorological mast at an ABO Wind site in France.

Its primary purpose is to gather comprehensive data, including videos and photos, on bird activity in the area before the wind farm's deployment. To ensure uninterrupted operation, we have integrated solar panels and batteries into the system, making it self-sufficient in terms of energy supply since there is no existing power infrastructure in the vicinity.

By utilising renewable energy sources, Bird Protect not only minimises its environmental footprint but also maximises its efficiency in monitoring and safeguarding avian populations.
