Since early childhood, I've felt it's part of my path in this life to help others to feel well, discover their beauty and heal. Of course, the first step in doing that is learning to heal yourself, and I have spent some 25 years learning, practising and researching complementary medicine and healing techniques, which is also why 3 years ago I created my blog I'm Very Well Thank You. I am fascinated by our human ability to heal ourselves, and if we are open enough, to receive healing help from others. I am intrigued by the power of breath, food, love, sleep, nature and touch in bringing us into balance, tranquillity, even bliss! I started studying Reiki in my 20s when I took my Level I course, and practised on myself. Years later I felt ready to go to Level II which involves working on others. For years I have practised on myself, people, animals and even plants and seen amazing results. Next I took my Level III, becoming a Reiki Master around six years ago, and a few years ago also took Level I in Angelic Reiki. I believe in Reiki (which is not a religious ideal by any means) not only because I have directly experienced results from it when receiving it or giving it, but because - with all due respect to science - it is based on a principle of love, support, clearing blocked energy (which can lead from anything like emotional or physical discomfort or imbalance to serious illness). After these many years, I finally feel ready to offer Reiki sessions to others on a more regular and new level. My side of being a therapist is one of my many aspects of self, and I believe we are all multifaceted beings who need to do what we love - especially if it can help others!
