After discussions with The Margi Hotel and Farm, as well as our participants we made the difficult, but necessary decision to postpone the Mini Camp for later this fall. 
The safety of our attendees, speakers, hosts and partners, as well as the quality of experience are the most important factors to consider.

Pavlos Leventellis,

Pavlos Leventellis is a graphic designer experienced in print and branding. He studied graphic design and typography at the National Design School (TEI) of Athens and graduated in 1993. He worked as graphic designer and Art Director for a number of design agencies, including the publishing and advertising industry.
In 2000 he opened up his own creative studio being in charge of various freelance assignments, creating logos, packages and brochures. The last 10 years he continues to manage his own studio in Athens, this time, by the name of “Atelier Invitations” serving couples all over the world to design and print the visual communication of their unique wedding, with a focus on beautiful type, hand illustrated elements, luxurious paper and fine textures. He loves being a part of his clients' big (and little) celebrations, and he likes to think that his passion for design shows through in every printed piece.

Melanie Potamitou, Splendid Events Cyprus

Why would an event, conference and campaign developer for the European Commission in Brussels turn event and wedding planner in Cyprus was a question I received a lot when I found Splendid. As a Politics graduate, I must say history always plays its part in what comes next.
I grew up by the beach in a restaurant-hotel owner family, where early on I could listen to materials being sizzled, trimmed, and tucked into place. As a teenager, I trained to become a professional ballet dancer, spending hours perfecting a skywards pointing arm, a steady anchored ankle, a perfect spin, all in the uttermost lightness, all possible procuring the center of gravity. As a student, I understood the meaning of precision and research; working in the art and science of coordination between London, Amsterdam, and Paris, I found that my center of gravity was only found in details. Their depth, their gentleness, and presence into every event, how they convene a message behind the story.
I found Splendid to do exactly that: Research, design, coordinate and listen to materials, be omnipresent to pick up messages running along your history and translate them into colors, scents, fluidity, and as you wish it so, your perfect center of gravity.

After finishing Fine Arts and Masters in Design with the major in Branding, Sanya created a destination wedding planning brand which led her to start the Ellwed Magazine. As the Editor of the first international boutique magazine for destination weddings in Greece and a founder of multiple creative brands also from the wedding industry, she will talk about attracting the right high end client for your brand, how to express yourself to get noticed, without copying others while staying true to yourself. You will be able to ask her anything about starting out, your marketing, branding, styled shoots and submissions!
Ellwed cover shoots were featured in numerous major wedding blogs like Green Wedding Shoes, Martha Stewart Weddings, Wedding Chicks, Seasons of Yes book as well as the many International Trend Reports. Over the past years, I’ve been struggling with the idea of client experience and how to wow our dreamy clients throughout working together. But friends, let’s not complicate the process. It’s much easier to become the queen of client experience than what you might think.
It is a multi-faceted process that doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s about creating a space of trust through some thoughtful, actionable steps that will elevate, guide, and provide your client value from start to finish of working together.
3 simple steps you can implement to provide a high-end experience:
1) make expectations know at every single step
2) guide your clients through those expectations step by step
3) underpromise and over deliver
Creating a client experience that sets you apart in your industry and builds trust with your clients doesn’t have to be complicated. The key here is to pour your heart into the process you are creating. If you are intentional and thinking about how you make your clients feel, it will shine through and be so apparent as you guide them through your process.

Artemis Aristidou, Founder & Creative Director Fresh Events Cyprus
"From a very young age, I remember myself entertaining for friends and family and crafting and creating gifts, decorations or even small furniture for myself and my friends, using every material I could collect or save from scrap. And those where the late eighties and early nineties when this reclaiming frenzy, that is so catchy nowadays, was considered a bit odd or weird!
In spite of this and my ever restless nature, my academic years were not as creative, as I attended and graduated law school! After graduating from the University I was called to the Cyprus Bar and practised law for eight years before deciding to return to my creative passion, that I never really gave up.
As a result of that I began undertaking some small-scale projects beginning from my willing friends and family. The circle of “friends and family” gradually became bigger and bigger and began expanding so I decided it was about time to choose my path and as a result of this I founded Fresh, which opened its doors on Valentine’s Day 2008.
After opening Fresh, and aiming to offer only the best to all clients of Fresh, I attended various courses in the design field, taking a course in graphic design and attending other professional courses, with world renowned floral designers such as Paula Pryke and Karen Tran. I also attended a course on Event Design at the Central Saint Martin’s School of Art in London. And my intention is to attend many more in the future as I’m a firm believer of continuing education.
I’m also a very curious by nature and observant person and have stored in my head every single image I ever came across. This helps me retrieve instant inspiration when I need to and also understand a client’s vision so clearly that I can literally walk through their whole event and see in front of me every single detail even when meeting with them for the very first time. And this I believe is one of my talents that helped me through the years to deliver the quality of service that made fresh so popular in its field."
