Just before closing our doors for 2023, we welcomed the students of the 3rd Primary School of Agios Nikolaos and the students of the Special Education School of Agios Nikolaos for a tour of the artworks in the Sculpture Garden at Minos Beach art hotel. The perfect ending to a season filled with school visits and workshops for students and educators. We will be back in 2024 with a big surprise!

Bluegr turns pink every October! Together we are stronger than Breast Cancer!

During our 2023 Volunteer Week a few days ago, we hosted our second blood donation for this year, collecting 42 bottles of blood. For the first time, we also partnered with Orama Elpidas, adding more than 50 new names to the list of volunteer bone marrow donors.

A huge thank you to the over 100 amazing volunteers who came together, making us proud once again!

We kicked off our 2023 Volunteer Week by joining the fight for breast cancer awareness with Greece Race for the Cure and Alma Zois! Our team showed up in full force in Athens and Crete, with more than 100 blue runners participating in the walk to defeat fear and prejudice and to raise awareness for early prevention and diagnosis.

Together we are stronger than breast cancer!

Sustainability – Solidarity – Culture

With our Volunteer Week fast approaching, we look back on all the wonderful moments, events, and activities which have so far made this season moving, fun, and unforgettable. Touching upon every pillar of our CSR Strategy, we strive to protect our environment and raise environmental awareness (b-Green!), champion volunteerism and solidarity (b-Active!), promote our rich cultural heritage (b-Proud!), and support our local community and life-long learning in any way we can (b-theFuture!).

Supporting the “Children’s Festival” and the “Colour your Day for Autism” initiative, celebrating “World Environment Day” with our little blues, and donating valuable supplies to the Agios Nikolaos Hospital are only a handful of the meaningful experiences, new partnerships, and heart-warming events which have filled the season so far.

As we gear up for our Volunteer Week 2023, stay tuned for all the amazing things coming and let’s continue making great memories together. A huge thank you to our people, who are the Spirit of bluegr.
