I ain't Brad Pitt and Miranda, our little patient that came to our office 7 years ago, ain't Dalai Lama, but surely her tooth has evolved into a small miracle.
This my first and well documented revascularization attempt, which was done in cooperation with a very skilled pediatric dentist and an amazing orthodontist.
The impacted canine never made it into the mouth, which makes our efforts to treat the lateral incisor even more important.

Never quit! Sigle visit treatment. Mesial buccal canal became evident post warm vertical obturation. The tooth was reopened imediately and the extra canal was prepared and obturated.

By-pass and retrieve of a separated instrument in the apical part of a distal root of an upper molar.
First, we treated the rest of the root canal system, allowing NaOCl to work at the same time in the distal buccal canal.
Then, we created a straight line access , thus enabling the direct view of the fragment under high magnification. K-files were used to by pass it and the M4 handpiece to loosen them. Ultrasonic activation of EDTA altrenated with direct contact of the US tip to the coronal part of the fragment in a dry environment resulted in the removal of it, and an xray was taken for confirmation.
For obturation we used bioceramic sealer and guttapercha with the single cone technique.

Blue mentality
Upper second molar with ledge and separated instrument in the severely curved mesial canals, treated with MG3II blue files. Obturation with GP and bioceramic sealer.
