Meet The Batanga, a famous and simple mix of El Tequileño Blanco, Coca Cola, and a splash of lime, all stirred with a knife. 🔪
But why is it called that? Here's the fun story:

Imagine Don Javier, the owner, running out of regular glasses. He rushes to the market and brings back "batangas" instead of the usual "tubes." Why? Because he wanted to pay tribute to his funny friend, Batanga – a short, chubby guy who was always a bit tipsy. Just like a short canoe in the Philippines called "batanga," Batanga himself was short, wide, and often "in the agua".
