Excellent news and bad news we wish to share with you at the closing of a creative year for A.U.R.A..
Just a few days ago, we proudly launched our newest apartment: A.U.R.A. Gracious -Accessible Apt in Ideal Location offers required features for accessibility (adapted bathroom and more).
On Airbnb, one of the most popular booking platforms, although among the filters which allow travelers to find the most convenient property, accessibility filters are included, not one accessible apartment in Athens is found as the algorithm relies on other general parameters and omits the specific filters.
Help us spread the word so Airbnb assists travelers with accessibility needs in Athens.

Our Story
A.U.R.A. derives from the energy which you will be experiencing as a visitor.
First and most important is the energy that flows from the Acropolis of Athens. You will admire its view and absorb its energy both from the inside as well as from the roof top terrace and the swimming pool. It also derives from the renewable geothermal and solar energy systems, designed to insure heating and cooling in a very unique and pleasant way, domestic hot water production and swimming pool heating in an environment-friendly way. Last but not least, positive energy is emitted from your host who is trying not just to be accommodating but treat you as her own guests. It is only normal the mix has created the Acropolis Unique Residence Apartments.
To visit Athens, the A.U.R.A. apartments are ideally located in the area of Thission.
Thission is probably the most appealing of all neighborhoods in the center of Athens, for visitors as well as for Athenians. It combines the serenity of the archaeological sites, the pedestrian streets, the neoclassical houses, the museums and art galleries, with the lively cafes and bars, the Athenian family walks during the weekends, and the open air craft market.
A.U.R.A. is literally 10 minutes’ walk from the Acropolis, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Acropolis Museum and other points of interest, that can be reached through the Grand Promenade, characterized as one the most beautiful city walks in Europe.
A variety of shops (grocery, bakery, bookstore and many others) as well as some excellent taverns / restaurants and cafes are found at a 2minutes walk from the building.
The building is privately owned and taken care daily. A.U.R.A. includes four apartments, and a reception area at the ground floor.
The apartments' description in a few words:
All top three apartments connect to the roof top terrace and swimming pool which becomes indoors and heated during the winter. They can also connect to each other from an interior and exterior staircase to accommodate a big group. The newest apartment (5 bedrooms / 5 bathrooms ) is at the 3d floor, with no access to the terrace or pool.
The A.U.R.A. Penthouse
5 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / large living room / large dining room and patio / spacious fully equipped modern kitchen. Modern design, bright, spacious and perfectly clean. Fantastic view to the Acropolis from the dining room and the roof top terrace.
The A.U.R.A. Apartment / 6th floor
1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / 1 walk in closet / large living room / private veranda with an awesome view to the Acropolis and to the pool and nice potted herbs for your cooking. Direct access to the pool area.
The A.U.R.A. Apartment 2 / 7th floor
1 bedroom / 1 outdoor like shower with a great view on the south side of the city / 1 separate WC / living room with kitchenette / and a unique view from everywhere to everywhere.
