A well crafted negroni at a proper bar is one of the finest pleasures in life. At least for us ! athens has one of the greatest bar atmospheres in Athens, and this negroni by is our favourite twist, with Roots Diktamo, gin and bitter Campari. Enough said.

Our friends from in London bring some freshness in the summer heat with one of their signature cocktails. A greek twist on a Mai Tai, with Roots Rakomelo.

We are excited to introduce George Gianniotis aka , our new Roots & Roots Divino brand ambassador based in Athens, Greece.

George, has worked in numerous bars over the years, and was also a finalist in our last No & Low "Back to the Roots" cocktail competition in Greece. He lives in the most vibrant part of Athens centre, Exarcheia, and is currently the head bartender of . George also holds a degree from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.

He will be sharing the Roots word and educating on Roots Divino non alcoholic vermouths, and Roots craft liqueurs. If you need a non alcoholic negroni or a Rakomelo old fashioned, and not only, he is your guy!

His favourite amaro is Roots Diktamo, paired with tonic and cucumber or in a negroni and his favourite non alcoholic cocktail is the NA Americano, with Roots Divino Bianco & Rosso and some tonic.

Big news - New distribution cooperation with Velier Spa Velier in Italy

We are pleased to announce that Roots (Roots Liqueurs and Roots Divino 0% vermouth) has entered a distribution partnership with Vellier Spa for the Italian market.

Vellier is the biggest and most prominent independent distributor of premium wines & spirits in Italy. A company that was founded in 1947 in Genoa. From 1990s onwards in Luca Gargano’s hands focuses on importing top-quality spirits, which are distributed to selected restaurants and wine bars, becoming the first Italian company to import wines from all corners of the world - from Australia to South Africa to California, Argentina, and Chile.

Italy is a very special country for Roots - many friends, many bars, many events, many competitions and our 1st export market. We are very happy to be partnering with a company that values quality and craft spirits. This is a great fit and we share the same values. In the following months many wonderful things will take place.

"While dealcoholized wine is fairly common in NA winemaking, Roots Divino applies the same technology to its line of vermouth-derived non-alcoholic aperitifis. The brand pays homage to the “roots” of fortified wine, which trace back to ancient Greece and Hippocrates’ alleged love for the beverage.
