‘Fine outdoor essentials ‘

.me was a blast and a great experience for the 5 guys .g , ._ , , and the one and only girl .zwgrafou_ that represent the Greek Rookie Snowboarding and Ski.
The .me snow park was great and well shaped as well the weather conditions. After a good prelim day 4 of the team we’re qualified for the finals.
At the finals after 3 steady runs .zwgrafou_ managed to get the 2nd place and a ticket for the finals in .
Unfortunately .g didn’t manage to stomp his 540’s at the soft landing (as he did flawlessly the previous day at qualifications ) at the first 2 runs and he missed a place at the podium for just 1 point !
At the ski div the 13 years old stomped his first backflip and earned the 3rd place at the podium. Not bad at all !!
A great trip for all and looking forward for the next season stops in Greece and Bulgaria.

That’s when all started !
Gerasimos Avramidis dropping the cornice at back in 1981 riding his handmade M Designs snow surf board , Virgin Slope model while ‘rocking’ Paladium apres ski boots , used ski pants Jkt and gloves from American dept store and JT racing MX goggles .
The board was hand build at Rumeliotis family wood workshop and was based at the ‘ski board model’ as was published at Action Now mag .
Back then Seli resort was getting 5 - 6 meters of fresh per season , the word ‘snowboard’ didn’t exist and we had to hike 2km to get at the spot as ‘ski boards’ weren’t allowed at the lifts .
Today due to ‘global warming ‘ Seli hardly gets enough snow to operate their lifts.
So let’s do our thing to reducing fossil fuels, protect our planet and get our snow back !

‘ CAKE’ the 2nd part of the snowboard film night continues the trip around the word searching of great spots and awesome people.
