After several years away, Next Time Passions return in 2024 with their new studio album "Coffee and Regrets". The album opens a new cycle of activity for the band, comprising five new songs written over the last two years, the 4 tracks from the sold-out "Another Wish" limited EP for the first time on vinyl, and a surprise: the band's legendary first single from the 90s, "Not Here Anymore", in a new recording.

With "Coffee and Regrets", Next Time Passions enrich their melodic indie-pop sound with apparent influences from the 60s psychedelia, while always staying true to the immediacy of their messages, a strong sense of melody, and the emotional power of their songs.

"Coffee and Regrets" is released on ltd black & yellow-marble vinyl by Make Me Happy records (Greece), Shelflife Records (USA), and Fastcut Records (Japan), and is also available as a digital download on several music platforms.

Next Time Passions formed in 1991 and are one of the most important groups of the Greek indie-pop scene of the 90s. In the first period of their history ('91-'95), they released a cassette EP and two singles, while their songs were included in compilations abroad in England and America. In 2009, after a long period where the members followed other musical directions, the band reactivated with a renewed lineup. This second period brought several live performances, participation in festivals in Greece and abroad, an album (Things Left On Stripes Of Time, 2012), a single (Brand New Sea, 2011) and an EP (Another Wish, 2016).

"Secret Postcards are a four piece, indie pop band from Thessaloniki Greece.

Stella Koukoutsi (vocals , guitar), Dimitris Vrakas (guitar) , Nicholas Kondylis (bass) and Chris Moumtzis (drums) started rehearsing songs in the summer of 2021 influenced by the ‘80s and ‘90s indie music.

It was on early Summer of 2021 that Mimis ( guitar ) and Stella (vocals, guitar) had the idea of forming an indie pop band which led Mimis reaching out to his old bandmates Nicholas (bass) and Chris (drums) and asked them to join in.

Their first release is a ltd (250 x copies worldwide) 7” single on transparent blue vinyl, called “Never Dreaming” with “Sweet Melody” as a b-side , via Make Me Happy records (Greece) and Fastcut Records (Japan).

Recorded and Mixed at Bluberry Productions Co. by Konstantinos Kofinas & Mastered by Antonis Tzortzis at Exceptional Mastering.

IMPOSSIBLE TYMES were a "side project/band" formed in 1992 by members from Next Time Passions, One Night Suzan and the Crooner all from the great Greek indiepop label This Happy Feeling.

Their compilation album "Popadelic" (on limited 300 copies worldwide) was just released under the team-up of Greece’s Make Me Happy records together with Shelflife Records (US) and Fastcut Records (Japan) that compiles all the band’s recorded output from the 90s, including three covers by The Field Mice, Biff Bang Pow! and The Pretty Things.

Impossible Tymes are probably best known for their superb 7" vinyl single "2X1", a split with Next Time Passions and co-released by This Happy Feeling! and Spain’s Elefant Records in 1994. They also released two EPs on cassette but are impossible to find these days. They also made many compilation appearances, with tracks as the "The Things You Love" and Field Mice's "Coach Station Reunion" for the seminal "Try A Little Sunshine" on Pop Art, "Dreambrushpaint" for "Picnic Basket" on Shelflife, "I Can Hear The Stars" for "A Sparkle From The Past" on Make Me Happy and of course "Aphrodite Smokes" an exclusive-at-that-time track (and the last they ever recorded) that they kindly donated for our limited free cd compilation "NOISE 25/04/98" back in 1998.

..the amazing compilation "Under The Bridge" on Amelia Fletcher's and Rob Purseys's Skep Wax records with mostly unreleased/exclusive tracks from bands that were all on Sarah Records or have key members whose bands were on that label. There are some names you’ll recognize: The Orchids, The Wake, Even As We Speak, where line-ups have remained relatively unchanged. And there are newer groups: Jetstream Pony (ex-Aberdeen), The Catenary Wires (ex-Heavenly), Soundwire (ex-The Sweetest Ache), where different shapes have evolved...
..Australia's legendary The Cat's Miaow retrospective compilation "Songs '94-'98" on World Of Echo records that draws from the group’s string of excellent seven-inch singles, some compilation contributions and features one previously unreleased song “I Take It That We’re Through” recorded in 1998...
..and finally, The Wedding Present's both Volumes of their "Locked Down and Stripped Back" series that features home recordings of their classics along with a previously unreleased song "That Would Only Happen In A Movie". The first volume in the series came about when David Gedge’s annual festival At The Edge Of The Sea went ‘virtual’ in 2020 and the band recorded semi-acoustic versions of songs to be streamed. An album of the tracks was compiled and released due to popular demand. The same thing happened the following year and so Volume Two features tracks initially recorded for 2021’s online festival. There’s a bevy of guest stars on this second album! Jon Stewart (of Sleeper fame) reprises his new role as Wedding Present guitarist but is joined here by some Wedding Present members of old. Peter Solowka, from the band’s first line-up appears on "Nobody’s Twisting Your Arm" playing his second instrument, the accordion, while Hit Parade guitarist Paul Dorrington contributes to a re-working of the Top 30 single "Blue Eyes". Long-time Wedding Present bass player Terry de Castro returns to infuse the album with her own unique style, while current Wedding Present bass player Melanie Howard takes over the lead vocal duties on a beautiful version of 1986’s "At The Edge Of The Sea". Last, but certainly not least, Amelia Fletcher (backing vocalist on George Best and Bizarro) also returns to the party! As on the first volume, each musician recorded and filmed their parts at home and, as before, it is fascinating to see how stripped-back arrangements bring out different aspects of these brilliant songs...
