At CAG, our teams’ uniforms are more than just clothing—they’re a proud symbol of our rich history and unbreakable unity. 📚👔
WE ARE not just a team, WE ARE FAMILY. Together, we honor our past and boldly embrace our future with an unstoppable spirit. ✨🐝
Our students had an incredible time at the AASCA Leadership conference! Throughout the event, they engaged in various team-building activities, gained deeper insights into their leadership styles, and attended workshops focused on using AI tools to develop innovative projects to bring back to CAG. 🤖💡 They also participated in community service at different local organizations. ❤️
Francesca, a 12th-grade student, shared her insights: “We learned how Artificial Intelligence can serve as an invaluable member of our team, helping us find solutions to challenges both on and off campus. We were able to understand the complexities behind leading a team by working alongside each other to build a presentation for our school."
This impactful experience helped our students grow as leaders, equipping them with tools and perspectives that will benefit our community. 🌍🙌
🚀 A group of 11th and 12th-grade students recently participated in the prestigious 3-day Central American Space Congress (CEC) at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. The event provided our students with a unique platform to connect with industry experts and young professionals shaping the future of space exploration. 👩🚀🛰️
The conference featured presentations by the UVG students who launched Guatemala’s first satellite, Quetzal 1, a special talk by a 9-year-old author whose children’s book on the solar system is available in our CAG library, and a CAG student who presented a book she’s co-authoring on observing the night skies in Guatemala. 🔭📚
This experience inspired our students to pursue internships with NASA and other space agencies. 🌍✨ They also gained insights into the diverse careers emerging in the space sector, from space politics to the design and architecture of future space stations! 🛸🏗️
