Not only will you pick up many new words and slangs, but also great to hear actors’ various accents. It is a natural way to enhance your English skills with speed and fun! Here are some tips for improving your English proficiency through watching movies.

1. Choose a scene you really like to focus on and don’t use your own language’s subtitles.

2. Play the scene with no subtitles on, listen and write down all the English words you can hear.

3. Play the scene again and repeat the previous step, write down more words you can hear.

4. Play the scene with English subtitles on, write down and look up the meaning of the new words. Check the spelling of the words you wrote down before.

5. Play the clip again and see how these new words fit into the scene.
