Born and raised in Beijing, Mr. ZHANG is now living in Hong Kong and practicing as a Chinese lawyer registered with the People's Republic of China Ministry of Justice and The Law Society of Hong Kong. Mr. ZHANG has at various times studied or worked in mainland China, the United States and the United Kingdom. He has obtained Bachelor of Arts degree in English and law in Mainland China and a Master of arts degree in law in the United States. Since 1997, Mr. ZHANG has advised a global clientele regarding the Chinese laws with Hong Kong based China Law Office. He has advised on a with range of China related legal matters including without limitation to company law, contract law, direct investment (EJV/CJV/WFOE), banking and foreign exchange, finance leasing, mortgage and guarantee, international trade, mergers and acquisitions, real estates, maritime law, conciliation, arbitration and litigation.
