They were called the "Three Musketeers" of modernist Chinese artists trained in China and France, whose art fused Asian and Western traditions. 【百歲誕辰】「吳冠中與香港」回顧展 街頭寫生方力申常伴左右

HOWTOREADBOOKS.HK 著名藝術家吳冠中百歲誕辰，中環一畫廊為他舉行老照片及版畫展，當中有他生前罕見的在港寫生照片，還有與小小方力申意想不到的合照。

什麼是版畫？版畫是經由繪、刻、印三步驟而生的視覺藝術作品，歷史悠久。它同時包含畫家對原作的創作，及畫家本人或專業工匠對版畫媒介的控制與創作，兼具欣賞及收藏價值。版畫某程度上具有可複製性，因此，對比原作，價格更為大眾化。當一位畫家的原作數量偏少且價格昂貴，高品質的版畫便成為了其愛好者收藏群的很好選擇。

一畫廊將於八月二十九日至九月二十一日舉行「吳冠中與香港——老照片與版畫展」。展出影像資料一百三十餘件，版畫二十餘張，不乏首次展出的珍品。上世紀八十年代起，吳冠中先生多次訪問香港，對這座城市有著深厚的感情。值先生百歲誕辰，讓我們藉此共同回溯他創作的足跡。

To commemorate the 100th Birthday of Wu Guanzhong, one of the greatest contemporary Chinese painter, Yan Gallery is delighted to announce its forthcoming exhibition entitled "Wu Guanzhong and Hong Kong - Prints and Photographies".
The exhibition consists of more than 130 historical photos of Wu Guanzhong in Hong Kong, the city he loved and took much inspiration from. Rare prints of both limited and open edition authorised by the artist will also be exhibited.
Exhibition starts Thursday August 29th until September 21st.

Yan Gallery is very pleased to present "Colourscape", a joint exhibition of Marco Szeto, Hokkan Pun & Grace Tam. The artists' individual styles and techniques are manifested through a variety of media and material. The colour can be dense or wispy, the touch dashing or refined, yet every item of the broad spectrum on display is equally eye-catching and impressive to the viewers.

Pang Jiun 龎均1936年生於上海。龎氏家族是油畫世家，其父龎薰琹是第一代留法學生，中國現代藝術先驅；其母丘堤是福建才女，留學日本。龎均受父母影響，在歐洲文化與東方文化的經驗交織中成長，他從觀察印象派由來獲得啟發，於東方錦繡山河中悟出一種灰調子，這種灰調亦成為他獨特的，具有代表性的繪畫語言。| 龎均，《古樹》，97x130cm，布面油畫，2018
