Meaning practice Yoga with strength and in a relaxed manner. "Sthira" translates as strong, steady, and stable. "Sukha" means comfortable, happy, and relaxed. It’s the balance between “effort” and “ease”

This is the practice of breath control, the movement of life force energy. When you learn to manage and control your breath, you are able to find space and stillness in your mind. With each inhale, lift the heart closer to the sun; with each exhale, root your heels deeper to the ground

瑜伽練習是靈性修行嗎?
很多人認為瑜伽是一種運動。
對,瑜伽體位法(Hatha Yoga asana practices)的確可以鍛鍊身體,以達到健康的身體形態,但「瑜伽」不只是「運動」。瑜伽體位法只是瑜伽修行的其中一個課題。
在瑜伽課堂中,呼吸練習是很重要的一環。
呼吸能有效地影響我們的心跳(身體層面)和情緒/感受(心靈層面)。瑜伽呼吸法能有系統、一步一步地調節我們的呼吸技術,促進自律神經平衡,精神和心理層面健康。
當身 心 靈能夠達到一致、平衡和健康,在每個有意識的呼吸、動作和選擇中,純粹的覺知,感受當下,這
就是我的瑜伽練習,這 就是我的靈性修行 #🙏🏻
另外,恆常的練習都是非常重要的元素。
初學者大多由一星期一兩次練習開始,慢慢培養成習慣(不只是興趣)。這過程的長短因人而異,有大部份學生在這個階段已經停止(未能養成習慣,或覺得一星期一兩次已足夠)。
習慣是融入生活的,就如早上起床會刷牙梳洗,睡前會洗澡一樣。應該沒有人一星期只會刷牙洗澡一至兩次吧。
