It's so important to keep your makeup and skincare products in good condition to increase their lifespan but not holding onto makeup treasures much longer than the use-by date, exposing them to toxins and bacteria, which lead to unnecessary breakouts and risk of infections.

Cream and lotions: 1 year
Foundation: 2 years
Mascara: 3 months
Lipstick: 1 year
Powder shadow and blush: 2 years
Eyeliner: pencils, if sharpened regularly, 1-2 years; pots - 6 months; liquid eyeliner - 3 months
