“The elevator project that we are doing for Hip Hing is the very first project we are doing in the construction phase. So it is a very critical milestone for us. Conventionally, the straightness of the elevator shaft is measured manually, by dropping a plumb line from top of elevator shaft to the bottom. This process is labour intensive and requires multiple scaffolding platforms. Now, by leveraging our AI technology, the measurements can be taken automatically at intervals of every 5-6 floors.” Harris Sun, CEO of the technology startup RaSpect shared the journey of working with Hip Hing and Eureka Nova | New World Group transform the construction industry with technology.

Kelvin Lo, Senior Project Manager of Hip Hing recognised the benefits of the new method, “It allows construction workers to do the measurements without entering the lift shaft, which is much safer and more accurate”.

Wir haben unseren größten Auftrag außerhalb Europas abgeschlossen. Im Rahmen einer zweiwöchigen Reise sind wir von Kinshasa über Matadi, Democratic Republic Congo nach INGA Barrages d'Inga gereist. Vor Ort haben wir mit einem Revisionsteam von Voith Group Voith Hydro das gesamte Krafthaus, die Wasserwege einer Maschine sowie das Sperrwerk mit aufgenommen. Die Daten werden zu CAD Modellen und Freiformflächenmodellen ausgewertet. Glücklicherweise haben die Scanner von FARO Technologies - Europe den widrigen Bedingungen vor Ort standgehalten. In jedem Fall sehen die Daten gut aus. und passen auf wenige Millimeter.
