🌟‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’ by Hokusai 🌊

The elements of water and ocean have been an endless source of inspiration for many artists for centuries. 🌊

‘The Great Wave of Kanagawa’ is a woodblock print created by the Japanese artist Hokusai during the Edo period around 1830. Hokusai started painting at the age of 6 and created this piece of artwork when he was 70! Many of us spotted Mount Fuji in the background! 🎨🖼️🗻

Based on this famous piece of artwork, we painted our own versions of the great wave. So interesting to see many different interpretations and interesting ideas by our little artists! 🥳😍❤️💭

🌟The blue whale is the biggest animal in the world.🐋🐳 It can get to be over 30 meters long, about as long as 3 school buses in a row and its tongue can weigh as much as an elephant! 🐘✨❤️

🗻🌸Mount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan, surrounded by 5 beautiful lakes. It is also a famous cultural icon of Japan, inspiring lots of artists and poets, it is also seen as a place of luck and good fortune!✨🥰🎋🪵🌸
