Register for our department's 7th Update in Paediatric Respiratory Diseases conference, now confirmed to take place on 8-9 February 2020!

Due to ongoing social unrest in Hong Kong and unpredictable traffic conditions, UPRD 2019 will be postponed tentatively till February 2020. We must all work our way through these recent challenges so that we can soon come together again to learn with each other.

Higher or lower oxygenation for very preterm infants in the delivery room? A short survey. Dear Colleague Exposing preterm infants to hypoxia or hyperoxia in the delivery room may cause irreversible cellular damage and brain injury. However, we do not know how much oxygen will minimize these risks.

We are pleased to announce that“Update in Paediatric Respiratory Diseases 2015” and “Paediatric Respiratory and Critical Care Workshop” will be held from 13 to 15 November 2015 in Hong Kong. We are also excited to announce that this conference will be organized jointly by the Department of Paediatrics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Children’s Hospital of Fudan University, Shanghai. Our programme includes a wide variety of interactive and innovative sessions designed to interest paediatricians, general practitioners, specialists in critical care and respiratory medicine, nurses and allied health care workers.
