Last week, we had the pleasure of attending Founders Live Zagreb, where our two ventures, TABU and SWEN, were among the five Croatian startups chosen to pitch their ideas on stage! 🚀

This event marked the first anniversary of Founders Live in Croatia, and we were honored to have the founder and CEO, Nick Hughes, join us and share the inspiring story of how it all began. We can't wait to see what the future holds — looking forward to the next time!

It was our honor to be a part of the Algebra LAB start-up incubator Demo Day — an event hosted by Sveučilište Algebra that showcases emerging startups.

Our very own Ivana led the panel discussion titled “Fail Forward: The Startup Guide to Transforming Setbacks into Success.” Panelists included Leonardo from SWEN, Antonija from Elevien, Ante from SQ Capital, and Anto from sportreact. They shared insights on the highs and lows of entrepreneurship and the hurdles they’ve faced along their career paths.

The grand finale was the startup pitch competition, where our COO, Ivor, contributed as a member of the jury. We would like to congratulate REARM and Tales of Mello for their superb pitches — well done, and we wish you all the best in your upcoming endeavors.

There's no better way to celebrate International Women's Day than to support all these strong and inspirational women who shared their product career stories at yesterday's "Ladies of New Business meets RockPaperProduct" conference. Thank you Netokracija for gathering almost 200 amazing women in one room, and big thanks to all the ladies (and also a few of the gentlemen) speakers and panelists — it was truly inspiring and motivating to be a part of this event.

Also, a big shout-out to TABU's presentation about product salaries & gender pay gap which was insightful, shocking, and amazing at the same time.

We had an eventful year, and here are some of the highlights from our ventures and their biggest accomplishments:

SWEN
• New product updates — Booking Engine, Channel Manager, Housekeeping Module and ID and passport scanning module with OCR technology
• Participated as a sponsor and exhibitor at the 17th Congress of Croatian Camping
• Exclusive presenter at the Slovenian Camping Association meetup

Elevien
• Used in 95% of all competitions in Croatia during the fall/winter of 2023
• European MAG Online Test Event held in December — the first 100% live online gymnastics competition organized by European Gymnastics and powered by Elevien
• 435 competitions organized in the app with gymnasts from 82 countries, and more than 9.000 spectators

TABU
• Collected more than 26,000 salaries from private users
• Created a salary benchmarking tool for two industries in Croatia, covering all major players in each industry
• Implemented new features both for private and business users

Flaster
• Part of the Global Growth Acceleration Program organized by Zicer Innovation Center
• Used by 46 customers in Croatian, Slovenian and Bosnian markets
• Expanding to new markets (Poland) and different types of moving surfaces (buses, rideshare vehicles, etc.)

Bitreport
• Part of the Global Growth Acceleration Program organized by Zicer Innovation Center
• Expanding to new markets (Serbia) and closing first customers and partners
• Through the Bitreport platform, customers achieved an 82% faster audit process and a 72% increase in response rate from the field
